
South Korean musician DJ Koo, husband of the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, has reportedly lost 12 kg following her funeral, according to sources.

Citing Sohu , Znews reports that DJ Koo’s significant weight loss is attributed to his deep grief over Hsu’s passing, which has made it difficult for him to eat and caused him to cry daily, further deteriorating his health.
To help support him through this difficult time, Hsu’s younger sister, Taiwanese host Dee Hsu, and her family have been inviting DJ Koo to dinner every week, sources claim. Now based in Taipei, DJ Koo reportedly has only one friend there, and with no other family nearby, he has been enduring his sorrow in solitude.
According to sources, the artist has suspended all entertainment-related endeavors and is now concentrating on constructing a monument in honor of his deceased spouse. The sculpture is intended to be installed at her gravesite upon completion.
Likewise, Dee Hsu has stepped back from her hosting role to deal with the loss of her sister. Unlike DJ Koo, though, Dee continues to be actively engaged on social media platforms.
Earlier this month, reports emerged suggesting that Hsu’s jewelry, which was reportedly left as an inheritance for her daughter, had shown up at an auction . Speculation arose that Dee Hsu and their mother had sold the jewelry. Dee subsequently denied the allegations, urging the public to stop spreading false rumors about her late sister.
Barbie Hsu, renowned for her performances in hit TV dramas like "Meteor Garden," "Mars," and "Summer’s Desire," died at the age of 49 from complications related to pneumonia. Her family announced this news on February 3rd. Her funeral took place on March 15.
In February 2022, Hsu tied the knot with DJ Koo, subsequent to her initial marriage to Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei, which concluded in 2021 after lasting for a decade. Hsu and Wang have two offspring together: their 11-year-old child named Wang Hsi Yueh and their 9-year-old son called Wang Hsi Lin.
