The WWE roster boasts an abundance of remarkable talent, featuring numerous individuals capable of headlining WrestleMania.

A prime example is Drew McIntyre, a multiple-world-champion wrestler set to compete against ex-World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the grand event known as the Show of Shows.

However, McIntyre suffered a surprising injury when he was choke slammed onto a car during SmackDown, resulting in glass going into his eye.

For now, it's uncertain whether the match will happen at all. But according to McIntyre, this should not even be up for debate.

While appearing on It's Called Soccer, McIntyre spoke candidly about his injury and the eye patch he was wearing.

"The portion of the glass that hit the windshield rebounded upward and ended up right in my eye," McIntyre stated, according to Jeremy Lambert of Fightful I've got the patch on at the moment, praying I can crack this issue and make my way to WrestleMania. Right now, it’s really just a race against time.

McIntyre proceeded to describe the specific move or maneuver in question.

“It wasn’t too terrible,” McIntyre went on. “I’ve never actually hit a windshield before. Maybe he should have tossed me onto the roof of the car or the pavement instead; those would likely cause more pain. While I haven’t personally ended up on a windshield, the design makes the glass spread out like a web.”

I had on a leather jacket which protected me from getting scratched up. Although the fall wasn’t ideal, it turned out better than expected. Bits of dirt and small rocks flew up and got into my eye, so I’m currently handling that issue.

The whole eye situation wasn't meant to occur. I shouldn't be perched here at this moment wearing an eyepatch, but alas, here I sit.

Ultimately, McIntyre will stop at nothing to secure his spot at WrestleMania 41.

Just let me put it this way," McIntyre stated. "I have made it abundantly clear to the appropriate individuals that missing WrestleMania is simply not an option for me. Furthermore, those in leadership positions, particularly someone at the helm like Triple H—who has overcome the ordeal of quadriceps ripped from his body—fully grasps the significance of being in the ring and comprehends just how monumental WrestleMania truly is.

If push comes to shove, I think he'll probably just let it slide. However, I am determined to take whatever actions necessary to make sure I appear at WrestleMania regardless of the circumstances.
