Winston-Salem Man Facing Charges for Alleged Child Sex Crimes

In Forsyth County, North Carolina (WGHP), a man from Winston-Salem is confronting multiple charges related to child sexual offenses following an investigation conducted by the Invictus Task Force.

In January 2025, agents with the Invictus Task Force initiated an inquiry based on several cybersecurity leads provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The inquiry based on these leads resulted in identifying Joseph Marshall Blevins, aged 47, from Winston-Salem, as a person of interest.

On Thursday, law enforcement carried out a search warrant through the ITF, leading to Blevins being apprehended and accused of nine charges related to second-degree sexual exploitation of a child. Following this, he was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center where his bail was set at $300,000 secure bond.
