Man Jailed in Ongoing Pee Dee Drug Bust, Deputies Announce

MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) — The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office reported yet another arrest as part of their continuing "Clean Sweep" initiative on Friday.

According to deputies, they arrested Dylan Johnson because he had pending warrants related to six charges: distributing crack cocaine twice, distributing crack cocaine near a playground on two occasions, and putting a child in danger unlawfully on two separate instances.

As stated by the MCSO, the "Clean Sweep" initiative—a continuing three-month probe—has resulted in numerous drug-related arrests and is expected to lead to more such apprehensions in the future.

“The operation will persist in tracking individuals who compromise lives and self-incarcerate through their chosen profession,” the sheriff’s office stated in a Facebook post.
