SWAT Arrests Teen for Gunfire During Vehicular Trespassing

DENVER ( KDVR A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old were taken into custody following an incident. SWAT operation in Loveland on Monday , the Loveland Police Department reported on Thursday.

The police visited the Autumn Lake Apartments to execute an arrest warrant and conduct a search following investigations into a man allegedly trying to break into cars on Sunday, March 30. According to law enforcement, a witness saw unusual behavior near Boise Avenue and El Dente Peak Place and reported it; when they approached, the suspect reportedly showed and fired a gun.

According to the authorities, the victim left the location and reached out to law enforcement.

The inquiry resulted in the apprehension of Joseph Excel Eugen Hollowell, aged 19, from Loveland. He is currently confronting charges including:

  • Menacing
  • Ownership of arms by an individual with prior offenses
  • Carrying a hidden firearm illegally
  • Two charges related to unlawful firing of a weapon
  • Two charges of recklessly endangering others
  • Aiding in the misconduct of a juvenile
  • First-degree criminal trespass

The judge assigned a bail of $20,000, either in cash or through surety.

The police mentioned that they apprehended Jovon Matthew Hollowell, aged 20, alongside Joseph as he had an open warrant against him. They added that Jovon was found in possession of a loaded gun whose serial number had been removed.

Jovon is charged with illegally concealing a weapon and possessing a altered firearm. His bail has been set at $50 in cash.
