
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) -- According to the Spartanburg Police Department, a female was injured in a drive-by shooting on Friday morning.
As stated by the department, at approximately 1:14 a.m., a vehicle passed by a club located on Kensington Road and fired upon a woman, injuring her thigh. She then entered a car with her companion to make their way to the hospital.
Authorities stated that the vehicle was halted by law enforcement officials, after which the female involved received initial care until emergency medical services reached the scene. They reported her injuries as not being life-threatening.
Currently, the suspect has not been taken into custody.
