The Sacramento Police Department stated on Wednesday that a father who had been absent with his two children for nine months is now being sought in relation to the death of their mother.
Angelica Bravo, who was 28 years old, was discovered deceased at her residence in North Sacramento on July 8th. Following this incident, Camron Lee, aged 39, has gone missing alongside their 4-year-old daughter, Athena Lee, and their 2-year-old son, Mateo Lee.

Detectives obtained a warrant accusing Lee of murder, and he additionally faces an open arrest warrant related to separate firearm offenses.
Dawn Bodea, who is Bravo's mother, expressed her hope that this will result in additional resources being made available to aid in locating her grandchildren.
"All we wish for is to progress and locate the children so we can bring them back home," stated Bodea.
Lee was spotted at the wheel of a Honda Passport that entered Mexico. Authorities discovered the abandoned car in Ensenada. It has been mentioned that he also maintains connections to Southern California.
All we're asking is for everyone to stay vigilant," stated Bodea. "Please continue searching for them.

Anthony Gamble, who serves as a public information officer for the Sacramento police department, stated that "fresh clues and progress" have resulted in the murder charges being filed.
He didn’t clarify what these new developments entail, stating that “highly sensitive matters” in the probe will “ideally surface during the trial.”
"The truth is emerging at this very moment and that's truly significant," stated Bodea.
The coroner's office originally stated it couldn't identify the reason for Bravo's demise but she might have fallen prey to "violent murder."
"Obtaining that felony murder warrant now gives us access to certain abilities and resources that were unavailable before, enabling us to apprehend him," Gamble explained.
Gamble stated that according to the collected evidence, they don’t think the two children are at risk. However, he mentioned that law enforcement officials remain unaware of their whereabouts.
The investigation is still active and police are following up on a lead that Lee traveled to Mexico.
Camron, should you be watching, I would advise that you surrender,"Gambe stated."This pursuit will not cease.
The police are requesting anyone who has witnessed anything related to this incident to contact dispatch at (916) 808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
