
COCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — State police report that a man from Middletown is facing charges following an alleged sexual assault of a minor on multiple occasions.
Following this, a victim informed investigators that the suspect had allegedly made inappropriate physical contact with them multiple occasions spanning across two years, as stated by state police.
Daniel Carmody, aged 47, was taken into custody on April 8, according to statements made by the state police.
He faced charges for unlawful physical intimacy with someone under 13 years old, second-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Carmody was detained with a $250,000 bail requirement.
