'Steadfast Marketing Restaurant' Jeju SK FC's endeavors have once more come to light.
On the afternoon of January 20th at 4:30 PM, Jeju SK played their ninth-round home match against the Pohang Steelers as part of "Jeju Inhabitant Day" during the Hana Bank K League 1 season in 2025, securing a victory with a score of 2-0. The event was organized jointly by NH Nonghyup Bank’s Seogwipo branch, along with organizations such as the Jeju Pig Agricultural Cooperative, Jeju Tangerine Agricultural Cooperative, Seogwipo City Livestock Cooperative, and Seogwipo Agricultural Cooperative. These groups collaborated to host several activities aimed at benefiting the local community through mutual cooperation and growth.
The event was much more than just a regular home game. Seogwipo City, having closely followed Jeju SK’s capacity to organize such events, joined forces with local agriculture, animal husbandry, and cooperatives on Jeju Island to propose this initiative first. This wouldn’t have been feasible without the expertise of Jeju SK. Starting from 2023, Jeju SK has focused on enhancing its skills for managing major events as part of efforts to improve club operations and bolster financial stability through the "K League Financial Consolidation System." The main objective is to diversify income sources using innovative marketing approaches beyond traditional sports-related ventures.
In the past year, Jeju SK brought various external events like the 'Black Korean Beef Fair,' 'Discount Seafood Expo,' and 'Social Enterprise Festival' to their stadium. Through these initiatives, they gained comprehensive expertise and emergency management skills encompassing planning, structuring, and running events smoothly. To further enhance trust and facilitate event operations, they included 'Event Agency Services' in their business license.
Specifically, the participation in the event surged considerably because of engagement with attendees from nearby games. During this time, it also offered chances for stronger connections with different institutions, organizations, and local communities. This evolution in Jeju played a key role in rejuvenating both direct and indirect aspects of the regional economy. Consequently, numerous questions regarding the organization of additional events kept coming up persistently.
The participation of "Jeju, Jeju Union Member Day" was equally appreciated. To offer substantial benefits and boost consumer interest through membership engagement, Jeju SK organized an array of activities and initiatives. Slogans like “Let’s enjoy some rice cakes!
