A fundraising effort has been initiated for Gary Gibson, who was tragically killed by his girlfriend Alysse Saucedo. a killing followed by suicide that concluded with their home being burned down in Lower Paxton Township .
Police officers and firefighters responded to 6524 Fairfax Drive at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 30 due to reports of a house fire potentially involving trapped individuals. This information was provided in an announcement released the next day by the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police.
Within the smoky residence, emergency personnel discovered Saucedo, who was 33 years old, unconscious in a hallway on the second floor. Despite being rescued from the house, she did not regain awareness, according to officials.
Gibson, who was 40 years old, was discovered deceased in the master bathroom with a bullet wound to the head. Authorities stated that his death was classified as a homicide, whereas Saucedo’s passing was deemed a suicide. A pistol belonging to Saucedo was located close to where she died.
The investigators discovered three separate ignition points within the house: one near the entrance, another at the head of the bed in the main bedroom, and the third located where the bedroom meets the bathroom. Tests did not reveal any signs of flammable substances being used, indicating that the blazes had smoldered for quite some duration prior to the arrival of emergency services, as explained by law enforcement officials.
Officials stated that four dogs were discovered deceased inside the house, whereas the remaining three were found safe.
Gibson’s daughter launched a GoFundMe A campaign aimed at raising funds to offset funeral costs and increase public understanding about domestic abuse and mental health issues has garnered over $1,000 towards their $4,000 objective as of last Thursday, April 10th.
