On Wednesday, April 9, a judge from Scott County sentenced Travis Vincent, who is from Qulin, for the charge-transfer case.
In February, Vincent admitted guilt to three felony charges and was handed down sentences totaling 35 years in prison; however, the two 10-year terms will run consecutively, whereas the 15-year sentence will run concurrently.
According to authorities, Vincent's truck veered across the median stripe on Highway 62 east of Wyatt, leading to a direct collision with the motorcycle, which resulted in the deaths of a couple from Somerset, Kentucky.
