13 Arrested in Child Sex Abuse Probe

A group consisting of twelve men and one woman has been taken into custody on suspicions related to alleged historic child sexual abuse cases.

The West Yorkshire Police reported that they had apprehended individuals ranging from 42 to 59 years old, along with a 60-year-old female, at multiple locations across Bradford during March and April.

The police stated that the supposed offenses allegedly took place against one individual from 2000 to 2005, during which time she was between 13 and 17 years old.

All 13 individuals have been released on bail awaiting additional investigations.

Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Greenbank stated, "These apprehensions are connected to a continuing probe concerning historical sexual offenses committed against a minor in the Bradford region."

"We hope that investigations like this show we take all reports of sexual abuse seriously and you will be supported by officers with experience of dealing with these kind of offences."
