TKO in Talks for Potential NFL Blockbuster Deal

TKO Group Holdings is said to be among the ten groups that have submitted bids to the NFL to potentially invest in their new professional flag football leagues. Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TKO, the corporation overseeing both WWE and UFC is aiming to grow its presence by entering into the realm of men's and women's flag football within the NFL.

According to ESPN NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the league is actively considering establishing distinct competitions for male and female athletes in the sport. Bloomberg reported Besides TKO, additional possible investors encompass Alexis Ohanian’s venture capital outfit, the collaboration between Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz, a media enterprise launched by ex-NFL player Michael Strahan dubbed SMAC Entertainment, and others.

There were no reports indicating whether TKO plans to acquire an ownership stake in a flag football team once the leagues come into existence.
