
New Delhi [India], March 15 (ANI): The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat is slated to become part of the London-based Dulwich Cricket Club for the 2025 Surrey Championship season, according to Wisden reports.
This step is intended to rejuvenate his cricket career, specifically in Test matches, where he has found it difficult to earn a place in the Indian national side even though he boasts an outstanding performance in domestic-level games.
As reported by Wisden, Bharat has an outstanding first-class performance history, accumulating 5686 runs with 10 centuries and 32 half-centuries in 105 games. Nonetheless, chances of his return to international cricket appear remote, leading him to consider playing overseas.
In the Surrey Championship, which is a Division 1 league, Bharat has an opportunity to showcase his skills and catch the eye of talent scouts.
