US Vice President JD Vance Has initiated yet another assault on Europe, asserting that the continent is experiencing 'cultural self-destruction' due to unrestricted borders and suppression of speech.
Speaking on Fox News The VP expressed concern about the future of the West since numerous European nations are either 'incapable or reluctant' to 'manage their frontiers.'
He stated during the Ingraham Angle segment on the network: "Too many nations are either incapable of or reluctant to secure their borders."
'You observe them beginning to restrict the freedom of speech for their own people just as these citizens are demonstrating against issues such as the border influx that affected [US President].' Donald Trump as well as several newly elected European leaders.
I wish for Europe to flourish. I desire them to become a significant partner. A key aspect of this will involve Europe valuing its citizens and upholding its sovereignty, as America cannot accomplish this task on their behalf.
He also acknowledged Christian civilization as the foundation for the establishment of the United States, attributing it to European influence.
"The cultural ties and religious connections — these will endure past any political differences," stated Mr. Vance.

Nevertheless, he shifted his focus to Germany, stating, "If you bring in several more millions of immigrants from nations that have completely different cultures than Germany’s, my opinion on Europe won’t make much difference."
Germany might destroy itself, and I hope they won’t go down this path because I care for Germany, and I wish for its prosperity.
It comes after a number of rants Mr Vance launched on European countries, including the UK, during the Munich security conference when he mentioned a legal case in which a former serviceman was convicted of breaching the safe zone around the centre.
In a broader assault on what he characterized as a move away from democratic principles throughout Europe, Mr. Vance alleged the ' fundamental freedoms for religious people in Britain, In particular, these entities are under threat. Donald Trump commended this attack, describing it as 'brilliant'.
Following these remarks, Mr. Vance’s statements led to an urgent EU summit, as he additionally claimed that European leaders would not participate in any negotiations for a peaceful resolution regarding Ukraine.
Later, Mr. Vance defended his comments in the Oval Office with both Keir Starmer and Donald Trump present. He stated, "I addressed this issue by acknowledging that we indeed maintain a special bond with our colleagues in the UK as well as certain European partners. However, it’s important to recognize that there have been instances where freedom of expression has been restricted, impacting individuals beyond just those in Britain."

Nevertheless, the Prime Minister retorted with, "We have enjoyed freedom of expression for an exceedingly long period in the United Kingdom, and this liberty shall endure for many more years."
Absolutely, we have no intention of reaching out to U.S. citizens, and indeed we do not, which is correct. However, concerning freedom of speech in the United Kingdom, I am quite proud of our heritage.
Mr. Vance subsequently sparked significant controversy when he referred to Britain as a 'random country' and claimed it had not '#fought a war in 30 or 40 years,' remarks he later refuted.
The U.S. Vice President tried urgently to clear up his remarks following intense criticism from military veterans and lawmakers across different political parties.
He made this statement in reference to a possible peace agreement aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr. Vance utilized a Fox News interview to exert pressure on Ukraine to enter into a mineral resources agreement with U.S. President Donald Trump.
He mentioned this as ' a much more reliable security assurance compared to having 20,000 soldiers from a nation that hasn't been involved in warfare for 30 or 40 years .

Angry former servicemen highlighted that 636 British soldiers lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq subsequent to the UK joining forces with the US in military operations initiated post the 9/11 terrorist strikes.
Mr. Vance faced accusations of 'obliterating' the contributions of UK personnel from historical records due to his comments, which were deemed 'profoundly disrespectful.'
However, the Vice President subsequently tried to retract his comments due to the significant backlash following his intervention.
He stated that his remark was not directed at Britain or France — the sole nations that have openly pledged to contribute to a peacekeeping force in Ukraine.
However, Mr. Vance did not specify which countries he was talking about.
Critics highlighted the extensive roster of nations that suffered casualties following their participation in the U.S.-led military efforts in Afghanistan post-9/11.
Sir Keir's authorized representative stated: "Both the Prime Minister and this nation hold deep respect for the British service members who have been deployed in recent times to Iraq and Afghanistan together with the U.S. and various coalition partners."
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage stated that Mr. Vance was "incorrect, incorrect, incorrect, incorrect."
"For two decades in Afghanistan—proportional to our size compared with America’s—we invested the same amount of funds, deployed an equivalent number of service members, and endured similar casualties," he stated to GB News while participating in a farmers' demonstration in Westminster.
We supported America throughout those 20 years, contributing equally.
And sure, they might be six times larger, but we did our part. Therefore, on this issue, JD is incorrect.
