A key strategy for assembling a successful team in college basketball involves leveraging the transfer portal, which has recently become accessible.
Despite March Madness being well underway, more than 600 players (including even Michigan's Justin Pippen , whose squad remains competitive in the NCAA men's basketball tournament) joined the transfer portal on the initial day of the window. By the second week of the window, over 1,600 players had enrolled in the portal.
A number of additional players are expected to join the transfer portal in the next several days. However, some key athletes have already committed to moving early. This group comprises Dailyn Swain from Xavier, Mackenzie Mgbako from Indiana, and Owen Freeman from Iowa.
Three ex-five-star prospects (which includes Mgbako along with Arizona State Jozan Sanon from 'Joson Sanon' and Jalil Bethea from Miami joined the transfer portal on the initial day, bringing the current total to nine. As additional prominent players clarify their decisions in the upcoming weeks, we will keep updating this article accordingly.
Participants are ranked according to projected performance, opponents' toughness, and multiple impact factors.
