TCU Star Hits Back at Angel Reese in 2 Words Following Big Announcement

Before Chicago Sky’s forward Angel Reese even took the floor for the WNBA, she had already made waves in the realm of women's basketball. Her victory with LSU in the 2023 National Championship against Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes intensified the rivalry between these emerging talents.

While not every team enjoys the success experienced by Coach Kim Mulkey and her Tigers, Notre Dame stood out for most of the season with their formidable lineup featuring Olivia Miles, Sonia Citron, and Hannah Hidalgo. However, towards the end of the year, the program faced tough challenges. Despite maintaining championship aspirations throughout the campaign, they struggled down the stretch and were eliminated in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament.

Miles then announced her major decision To join the transfer portal and swiftly committed to the TCU Horned Frogs. She will step into the void left by Hailey Van Lith, who is heading into the 2025 WNBA Draft, aiming to rejuvenate her career much as Van Lith did this year.

In the past year, Reese has garnered significant backing from athletes across the WNBA and women’s college basketball. Her skills on the court command great admiration, but she also earns praise for broadening her endeavors and stepping into new territories outside of playing.

This off-season, she secured numerous significant endorsement deals, launched her own podcast, and appeared on the cover of a leading magazine, further boosting her growing popularity. Nonetheless, come May 17, the focus will be solely on basketball as the Chicago Sky kick off their season with an away game against Clark and the Indiana Fever.
