Man Fatally Shot by 32 Gunshots in Fresno Tragedy

A man in his mid-20s died after reports of 32 gunshots were fired on Thursday night in Fresno.

On Thursday, April 10, around 5 PM, Fresno Police say they received a report of 32 gunshots fired in total, near the area of East Vine and south Bardell Ave.

When officers arrived, they were directed to a person who was shot near East George Ave.

The individual who got shot was in his middle twenties.

He was hurriedly taken to the medical facility, where he passed away shortly after 6 pm.

People who were present mentioned seeing individuals leap over barriers following the incident.

Officers said they stopped a person of interest in the area, but have not provided further details.
