A man has been detained by authorities in Killeen related to a homicide that took place in Oregon.
As stated in a press announcement from the Portland Police Bureau, Che Bell, aged 35, stands accused of murdering Kevin Rhinehart, who was 33 years old and resided in Portland. The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 7 p.m. on March 9th. Subsequently, he was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in Waco and subsequently incarcerated at the Bell County Jail on Monday, April 7th.

The officials from Portland have stated that Bell is charged with Second-Degree Murder, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Although he is scheduled to be transferred back to Oregon due to the events of March 9, they haven’t specified when exactly this transfer will take place.
Authorities state that the family of the victim has been informed about Bell's apprehension.
