Drug Dealer from U.S. Jailed for Seven Years

A drug dealer who brought "misery to our communities" by supplying drugs to Cambridge from his London home has been jailed.

Police conducted a raid at Bradley Faponle's residence on Beechwood Avenue in Greenford, London, back in January following a tip-off indicating his involvement in running a county lines operation.

Police discovered texts on his cellphone connecting him to the operation of the John and Tony drug network when the case was presented at Cambridge Crown Court on April 3rd.

Faponle, 38, pleaded guilty to one charge each of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.

The police from Cambridgeshire also discovered over £2,000 in cash as well as an unaccounted-for Rolex watch.

Detective Sergeant Martyn Willis stated that "drug dealers such as Faponle prey on vulnerable individuals" and noted that he was previously incarcerated for related crimes in 2019.

"By analyzing his actions and the text messages retrieved from his phone, we demonstrated that Faponle was involved in operating a criminal operation across London and Cambridge," he stated.

County lines cause suffering within our neighborhoods through drug trafficking, exploitation, and violence; such activities will not be accepted in Cambridgeshire.
