
Another chapter in the West North Carolina football coaching turnover has been settled, with Christ School On Wednesday, we announced the appointment of Clint Alexander as both the head football coach and program director.
Alexander replaces Chad Walker who took on the coaching position at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York, during the recent off-season.
Alexander has been coaching at Blue Ridge School in Saint George, Virginia, for the last three years, as stated in a statement from Christ School. During his tenure with the Barons, they achieved an undefeated record of 11-0 in 2024 and clinched the Virginia Division II state title. In 2023, they secured second place in the state after finishing their previous season with a win-loss tally of 9-2; this followed a debut year where they posted a mark of 5 wins out of 9 games played.

Previously, he coached at Woodberry Forest in Virginia from 2005 to 2016, accumulating a record of 83 wins, 32 losses, and one tie.
Throughout his career, 100 of his athletes have advanced to compete at the FBS level in collegiate sports, with five former team members going on to play professionally in the NFL, as stated in Christ School's press announcement.
Walker had a record of 18-23 during his four years as head coach for the Greenes. Last season, they secured victory in the NCISAA Division II state semifinals. However, their performance this past year was significantly affected by Tropical Storm Helene, resulting in a 4-5 record.
