A chimney sweep has faced charges after allegations of fraud emerged in Hastings and Rother.
Adam Reid, aged 40, from Dorset Road in Bexhill, has been held in custody after being accused of 19 instances of fraud amounting to almost £30,000 through deceptive practices, along with one charge of criminal business operations, as stated by Sussex Police.
Mr. Reid is scheduled to appear at Lewes Crown Court on May 2nd.
According to police, the probe pertains to suspected fraud involving 19 purported victims from November 2022 through February 2025.
