CADILLAC CITY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — Authorities report that a man from Cadillac is now charged with multiple offenses following an investigation into child pornography. The probe was initiated due to information provided through a tip.
The Michigan State Police’s Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force took into custody Brandon Kelly, aged 34.
Kelly faced charges on Thursday for:
- Felony possession of child pornography
- Possession of child pornography
- Utilizing a computer to carry out criminal activity
According to the report, Kelly was taken into custody after investigators confiscated digital evidence from his residence during their probe.
The police launched their inquiry after receiving a lead from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
