Brunswick Man Charged with Child Sex Abuse Images: Police Arrest Suspect

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. ( NEWS10 The New York State Police detained a Brunswick man on April 9 for allegedly possessing child sex abuse materials. According to authorities, Dustin Maxon, 33 years old, faces felony charges related to promoting and owning content involving the sexual exploitation of children.

The troopers stated that Maxon is alleged to have promoted and possessed imagery depicting child sexual abuse. His arrest followed an investigation and the execution of a search warrant at his residence in Brunswick by law enforcement officials.

The inquiry started following a cybertip received by state troopers from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Maxon appeared before the Brunswick Town Court and was sent to Rensselaer County Jail, where his bail was established at $50,000 in cash, an equivalent amount as a bond, or a partially secured bond of $500,000.
