AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department reported that a 20-year-old woman and a minor were taken into custody in relation to a shooting incident at Lakeline Mall back in January.
The individual has been named as Yaneth Medina, according to an announcement made by the Austin Police Department on Wednesday. She faces charges of tampering with evidence, categorized as a third-degree felony.

The online court documents did not list an attorney for Medina as of Wednesday. We'll provide updates should that information change.
The teenager was taken into custody and housed at the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center. According to the statement, he faced charges including aggravated assault as well as one count of deadly conduct.
The incident occurred on Jan. 2 just before 4 p.m., resulting in one individual being hurt, as reported by the police.
