In the first episode of her new podcast, Meghan Markle, who is married to Prince Harry, disclosed on Tuesday that she experienced health issues during her pregnancy.

During the episode, Markle welcomed Bumble creator Whitney Wolfe Herd and mentioned, "We both went through quite similar situations—though we were unaware of each other’s experience—with postpartum issues, specifically preeclampsia. It was particularly relevant for us as we both suffered from postpartum preeclampsia."

"The occurrence of this is so uncommon and terrifying," stated the 43-year-old ex-actress.

Postpartum preeclampsia is an uncommon disorder characterized by elevated blood pressure and excessive protein levels in the urine shortly following delivery, as stated by the Mayo Clinic.

Markle mentioned that you’re still attempting to manage everything simultaneously, while silently unseen events unfold unnoticed by the world.

In silence, you're simply attempting to be present, mainly for your kids, yes, yet these matters are significant health concerns.

Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, are parents to two youngsters named Archie and Lily. They are presently five years old and three years old, respectively.

Markle’s latest podcast titled “Confessions of a Female Founder” represents a significant shift towards establishing herself as an influential creator of inspirational lifestyle content.

In March, she unveiled a new culinary series on Netflix, and she has an adjacent line of home decor products, cookbooks and yoga equipment called As Ever.

In 2020, Meghan and Harry stepped back as working royals and moved to California. They are now largely estranged from the royal family.
