However, the internet does have some wild theories about whom she might be portraying.

On Reddit, user MuptonBossman offered their opinion and stated they thought Lady Gaga was chosen for the role of Cousin Itt. They believe she wouldn’t be seen because of her full-length blonde wig and hat costume.

‘Plot Twist – She’ll portray Cousin It, and no one will recognize it’s her.’

Lizzie888, however, proposed an alternative idea: "This reminds me of when she appeared in American Horror Story. It feels as though everyone anticipates her to play a dark, countess-type role, yet I'm hoping for something completely out of left field."

In the meantime, LyleLansleysMonorail was hoping that Lady Gaga’s character might have some interaction with Jenna’s Wednesday, wondering if perhaps she’d perform the famous Wednesday dance to one of her own tracks.

Upon its release on Netflix in 2022, Wednesday rapidly ascended to become the second most-watched English-language series ever on the streaming service.

"The Addams Family" from 1964–1966 can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
