TV Host Sizes Up Peter Dutton’s Election Odds

Paul Murray from Sky News highlighted the possible advantages for Opposition Leader Peter Dutton if the election were postponed. He proposed that this delay might allow Dutton to showcase his influence through his budget response address.

"Now, as opposed to most opposition leaders, who typically see things happening anytime from March through May before elections get scheduled," Mr Murray stated.

And Dutton hasn't received adequate recognition for his budget presentation during rebuttal speeches; these speeches contained broad overviews yet lacked focus. Specifically, he failed to address concerns regarding foreign investment, which resonates strongly with 73 percent of voters in swing constituencies.

So I believe they have a great opportunity to make their most significant move on that day.
